Six Tastings in Trastevere or Ten from Campo de' Fiori

A private walk, your group and one local guide with nobody else booked alongside, and two versions of it that start in different places. The six-tasting version meets at a bar on Piazza di San Cosimato, in the residential part of Trastevere where the market runs in the mornings and almost no tour groups go. The ten-tasting version meets at the Giordano Bruno statue in Campo de' Fiori and works south and west from there, over the Ponte Sisto and into Trastevere. What you eat is chosen by the guide rather than fixed, which is what a private booking actually buys: the tastings are the ones they eat themselves. Buffalo mozzarella and gelato are on both versions, and the rest depends on the day and on what you say you want. Between the stops you get the city. Three hours is enough to cover a good deal of the old centre on foot, and having nobody else's pace to keep means you can stop where you want to stop. The operator runs this format worldwide, pays its guides a fair fee, sources locally, keeps groups small, and certifies the experience as carbon neutral as a B-Corp.
