Private Thai Home Cooking Lesson: Pick from 100 Family Recipes

This one has been running since 2004, longer than most of the cooking schools in Bangkok have existed, and it works from a collection of more than a hundred recipes handed down through three generations of the same family. You choose which dishes you want to make. That is the whole shape of it: nothing is fixed in advance, and the lesson is built around whatever you are curious about, whether that is a curry you ate on the first night or something you have failed at repeatedly at home. It is private, for one to six people, and it is hands-on, so every dish is prepared by you under instruction rather than watched. Four hours, and the timing is flexible, so an earlier or later start can be arranged if you say so. In Thai or English. Lunch, ingredients, the kitchen and equipment, water, soft drinks, tea and coffee are all included, and the recipes come printed or as a PDF. It suits beginners and professionals equally.
