Three Mezcal Cocktails Taught Alongside the Cooking

The cooking class with the drinks attached, and the drinks are not an afterthought: three original cocktail recipes built on Mexican spirits, taught properly, with fresh local ingredients. Mezcal is the one to pay attention to. It is not tequila with a smoky note; it is a category of its own, made from many different agave species that take years to mature, and it behaves differently in a glass. Three recipes is enough to understand what to do with a bottle when you get one home. The cooking half is a complete Mexican meal with an expert English-speaking chef, working from proper recipes with the right tools and locally sourced ingredients. Three and a half hours, eight people at most, in English or Spanish, in Juarez. Vegetarian available and dietary requirements catered for with notice at booking. Hotel pick-up is not included. Prams are fine and infant seats available.
