Abdo's House: Kefta Tagine and a Spice Shop if You Ask

The operator has written this out as five steps, and the fifth is the one worth reading. You meet at a central point and are walked to the family home, which saves you the medina navigation. Sweet mint tea and Moroccan pastries on arrival. Then the cooking: fresh salads, a tagine, either chicken or the spiced meatball version, which is the one you are less likely to have made before, and a fruit dessert. No experience needed. While it simmers there is a sit-down and a conversation about how life here actually works, which is when the photographs get taken and nobody is chopping anything. Then everyone eats together. And the bonus: a free visit to a local spice shop, before the class or after it, but only if you say you want it. Nobody will offer twice, so ask. Three hours. Up to fifteen people, in English, French, German or Arabic, with the meal, drinks, water, air conditioning and Wi-Fi. Private transport and alcohol are not included.
