Athens Vegan Greek Cooking Class at the Soybird Studio
Greek cooking is more plant-based than its reputation suggests, and this class works entirely from that side of it. Three and a half hours in a studio on Veikou, on the ground floor with the door onto the street. The chefs take the class through the techniques as well as the recipes, and the menu runs from substantial main courses to desserts, so nobody leaves having only learned to make salad. It is built to work whether you cook every day or have never done it seriously. Everything cooked is eaten, and the drinks are included: water, beer, and white wine. The recipes are sent to you digitally in English afterwards. Twelve people at most, in English. One practical note from the studio: the hobs are induction, so the class is not suitable for anyone with a pacemaker. Syngrou-Fix metro is five minutes away, Acropolis ten.
