Tuscan Farmhouse Pasta and Tiramisu Class with a Market Visit

A full day that begins in a market and ends on a terrace with a view. The market is San Lorenzo, one of the historic food halls of Florence, where the group picks out the ingredients for the meal. It is an option rather than a fixture, so check what you booked. Then twenty minutes by minibus to a farmhouse in the Tuscan countryside, and the cooking begins there. Fresh pasta and the pesto to go on it, bruschetta, Tuscan roast pork, and tiramisù, which is the dish most people actually came to learn. The result is a four-course meal, eaten overlooking the hills, with up to four glasses of Tuscan wine across the day. You leave with a cooking diploma, and the recipes arrive by email afterwards. Five hours, up to fifteen people, in English. The return drops you near Santa Croce rather than at the meeting point. Two limits worth knowing: vegetarian, gluten-free and other dietary requirements cannot be accommodated, and the ground at the farmhouse is uneven and steep in places, so the tour is not suitable for wheelchair users or anyone with walking difficulties.
