Twenty-Nine Kilometres Out, to a Berber Garden

Twenty-nine kilometres is the number that matters. That is far enough out of Marrakech that the noise stops, the traffic stops, and the landscape becomes what it was before the city. The garden is a Berber one, organic, and the day starts with a walk round it, which is the part that makes the rest make sense: you see what is growing and then you cook it. Four hours, and the class is a Moroccan meal made properly, with the culture and the way of life that produced it explained alongside. Two people minimum, ten maximum, with a driver and guide, hotel pick-up and drop-off from selected hotels, lunch and drinks. Alcohol is not included. Vegetarian and other dietary requirements on request at booking. Children need an adult. Wheelchair accessible throughout, transport included, prams fine.
